Jerusalem: Israeli forces have blocked the main entrance to the village of Jaba', located north of occupied Jerusalem, by placing earth mounds on the bridge leading to the village. This bridge serves as the only access point for Jaba' residents traveling via al-Ram, forcing them to navigate on foot through alternative routes.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, this closure coincides with extensive Israeli military raids in the town of al-Ram and the Qalandiya refugee camp, both situated north of Jerusalem. The occupation forces have also maintained the closure of the Jaba' gate near the military checkpoint, exacerbating the movement restrictions for the residents.
These developments have heightened tensions in the area, affecting the daily lives of the local population who rely on these routes for commuting and accessing essential services.
