The branch of the General Authority for Zakat in Hubaish district of Ibb province on Wednesday launched the distribution of free household gas cylinders to the poorest families for 1,096 beneficiaries. At the inauguration, Ibb governor's undersecretary, Mohammed al-Shabibi praised the efforts of the General Authority for Zakat in supporting charitable projects that contribute to alleviating the suffering of poor and needy families. He pointed out that the Zakat Authority covers the needs of a large percentage of the poor and needy throughout the province, praising its role in caring for these groups. Al-Shabibi noted this humanitarian gesture that translates the keenness of the Leader of the Revolution and the President of the Supreme Political Council to care for the poor segment, indicating that this initiative will have a positive impact on the souls of those families, especially the poor, who deserve assistance, support and attention. He pointed out that the distribution comes as a translation of the directives of the Leader of the Revolution and the President of the Supreme Political Council and within the interest of the General Authority of Zakat in alleviating the suffering and needs of the poorest families.
