Israeli Army Issues Evacuation Order to Southern Lebanon Residents Amid Intensified Airstrikes

Beirut: The Israeli army has issued a directive for residents of southern Lebanon to evacuate immediately and move north of the Litani River. This order comes amid escalating tensions and military actions in the region.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli warplanes have conducted heavy airstrikes across various locations in Lebanon. These attacks have resulted in multiple casualties, injuries, and significant destruction of buildings and infrastructure. The city of Baalbek, along with the towns of Buday and Shamshtar in the Bekaa Valley, were specifically targeted, leading to eight fatalities and numerous injuries.

In addition to these areas, Israeli airstrikes also hit the southern suburbs of Beirut and several towns in Mount Lebanon, including Aramoun, Hazmieh, and Saadiyat. Further strikes were reported in the towns of Beit Leef, Tayr Falsay, Majadel, Houla, Shaqra, Jmeijmeh, Safad al-Batikh, and Zrarieh in southern Lebanon. The situation remains tense as the region grapples with the aftermath of these military operations.
