BERLIN: Germany today condemned the violence of extremist colonists who attacked and set fires in the Palestinian village of Jit in the West Bank yesterday, during which one Palestinian was killed and others were injured. 'This violence is unacceptable and the attacks must stop immediately,' said the German Foreign Ministry in a post on the X platform. 'Palestinians have a right to live in safety,' said the ministry. 'Israel has an obligation to protect Palestinians in the West Bank, stop these attacks, and prosecute the perpetrators,' it added.
