GAZA: In the early hours of this morning, at least four civilians, including a woman and a child, were killed in Israeli air and artillery strikes on homes in central Gaza and tents housing displaced people in western Rafah, southern Gaza. Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes bombed a house in the Al-Barka area of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, killing a woman and a child, and injuring several others, including children. Two additional civilians were further killed following an Israeli airstrike on a home in Al-Bi'a Street in the same city. In Rafah, Israeli artillery shelling and gunfire targeted tents sheltering displaced people in the Shakush area, resulting in further civilian injuries. Earlier last night, Israeli occupation forces directly targeted civil defense crews at their workplace in the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza, killing three civil defense personnel and injuring several others. Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7th last year, the death toll in Gaza has ris en to 37,765, mostly comprising children and women.
