The Russian Ministry of Defense announced this morning, Saturday, that the air defenses on duty destroyed and intercepted 101 Ukrainian drones that tried to target several Russian regions during the past night. The Russian Defense explained in a statement that 53 drones were destroyed and intercepted over the territory of Bryansk Province, 18 others over the territory of Krasnodar Province, 5 over Kaluga Province, and 3 drones in each of Tver and Belgorod Provinces. One drone was also neutralized in the airspace of each of the Smolensk and Kursk provinces and the Republic of Crimea, in addition to 16 drones over the waters of the Sea of Azov. Earlier today, Krasnodar Regional Governor Veniamin Kondratyev reported that the fall of a Ukrainian drone in the Tikhoretsk region caused a fire that spread to explosive materials, and with the explosions, the authorities began evacuating residents of a village near the accident site to ensure their safety.
