Khan Yunis - Together - The Coastal Municipalities Water Utility, in cooperation with the Khan Yunis Municipality, completed the restart of the water and sanitation system at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, with funding from UNICEF and in partnership with the Ministry of Health. It is worth noting that the Israeli occupation partially destroyed the hospital and took it out. It stopped working during the ground operation in the governorate, and after the Israeli withdrawal from Khan Yunis in March 2024, the Water Authority began to support the Ministry of Health in restarting the water and sanitation system by creating and equipping emergency cesspits, operating the desalination plant, and installing a desalinated water line linking The existing well and hospital buildings.
