Saudi: Jeddah airport security foil smuggling attempt of Captagon

The Saudi authorities announced Saturday that the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah security had thwarted an attempt to smuggle some 178,000 Captagon tablets into the Arabian Peninsula country. According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority stated that a consignment in which the contraband was found had been received from the Kingdom through King Abdulaziz Airport, which consisted of boxes containing "beehives." Airport security found the smuggled drugs upon putting the consignment into the scanner. It stated that Drug Control had arrested the two associates with the smuggling attempt in Saudi.
