Surif: Colonists burned two Palestinian-owned vehicles on Wednesday during an attack on the town of Surif, northwest of Hebron.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, Surif Mayor Hazem Ghneimat reported that a group of armed colonists attacked Palestinian homes in the Deir al-Nil area, north of the town, using stones and set fire to two vehicles. The attack has raised concerns among local residents about their safety and property.
Mayor Ghneimat further stated that the settlers have established an outpost on Palestinian land in the al-Quraynat area. This outpost is allegedly being used as a base for launching attacks on residents and their belongings. The ongoing attacks have led to casualties, including the injury of two elderly men, aged 82 and 72, just last Saturday. Additionally, a vehicle was set ablaze, and windows in several homes were shattered during these incidents.
