Abs district in Hajjah province hosted on Wednesday two significant events to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad. The first event, held in Bani Thawab district, featured cultural activities attended by prominent figures including Maj. Gen. Aqil al-Shami, Commander of the Victory Brigades, and Nasr al-Din Amer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni News Agency Saba. Hajjah governor Hilal al-Sufi emphasized the importance of participating in central events on the twelfth of Rabi' al-Awwal, highlighting the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday to strengthen faith and Quranic values. He also noted the importance of solidarity with the Palestinian people facing aggression. The evening included speeches, chanting segments, and poems celebrating the Prophet's legacy, with a focus on drawing lessons from his life to confront global aggression and support oppressed peoples. The second event in Bataria area saw attendance from Deputy Governor Nabil Al-Jarb and Brigadier General A bdulmalik al-Maghribi. Mohammed Aishan, Director of the General Authority for Endowments Office, spoke about the celebration as an expression of devotion to the Prophet and a call for moral and spiritual renewal. The event underscored Yemen's historical support for the Prophet and emphasized using this occasion to inspire national transformation and liberation from foreign domination. Both events featured poetic and rhetorical segments celebrating the Prophet Muhammad's teachings and legacy, reflecting a deep sense of reverence and commitment to his message.
