The Office of Industry and Trade in the Capital Secretariat detected 928 ration and price violations in various directorates of the Secretariat during the period from Shaaban 15 to Ramadan 12. Director of the Industry Office in the secretariat, Majid Al-Sada, explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the process of controlling violations took place during field campaigns carried out by the supervisory committees affiliated with the office and its branches in the directorates, which targeted nine thousand and 990 commercial establishments. He pointed out the commitment of six thousand and 782 commercial establishments, and the distribution of two thousand and 202 circulars to the targeted establishments and stores within the framework of the office's plan to achieve price , supply stability and protect the consumer from commercial fraud. Al-Sada reported that 140 commercial violations were referred to the Public Prosecution, and measures were taken against a number of other violations. He pointed to the efforts and work undertaken by the Industry Office and its branches since the month of Shaaban, in controlling violations, daily monitoring of markets, implementing price lists, and maintaining supply stability, in translation of the leadership's directives of the Ministry of Industry and the local authority in the secretariat. The Director of Industry confirmed the continuation of the field monitoring campaign on markets in all directorates of the Capital Secretariat, arresting violators and taking action against them.
