Doha: The Qatari team is due to participate in the 22nd edition of Asian Mens U20 Volleyball Championship by confronting Chinese Taipei on Jul.23. The tournament is held in Indonesias city of Surabaya from Jul.23-30. The Qatari team arrived in Surabaya to participate within Group B that includes Iran, the title holder, China, the champion of two editions, and Chinese Taipei. Besides, the Qatari team is slated to play the second match by confronting China on Jul. 24 and wrapping up the match by meeting Iran on Jul.25. The tournament features 16 teams divided into 4 groups. Group A includes Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Australia, and Hong Kong. Group C includes India, Bangladesh, Japan, and Kuwait and Group D includes South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, and Kazakhstan. The Qatari team is spearheaded by Saeed Juma Al Hitmi and includes the coach, Santiago Garcia. Source: Qatar News Agency
