Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani paid a visit to the jurist Sayyid Hussein Sayyid Ismail al-Sadr, this evening, Sunday, at his headquarters in the city of Kadhimiya in the capital, Baghdad. During the meeting, according to a statement by the Prime Minister's Office, the general conditions in the country were discussed, and the efforts made by the government to improve the service and living conditions of citizens, as the meeting witnessed an emphasis on investing in the state of stability throughout Iraq towards enhancing development and prosperity. The meeting touched on the tragic events in Gaza, and what the occupation forces' persistence in committing the most heinous crimes against the Palestinian people causes, and Iraq's steadfastness in its position supporting Palestine, in establishing its independent state, ensuring the rights of the Palestinians, and preventing the spread of conflict in the region.
