Al-Samarrai and Al-Maliki discuss ‘putting an end to the impasse’ in electing the new Speaker of the House of Representatives

Head of the Azm Alliance, Muthanna Al-Samarrai, discussed today, Monday, with the head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri Al-Maliki, the necessity of holding a session to elect the Speaker of the House of Representatives as soon as possible. According to a statement by the Al-Azm Alliance media office, the meeting discussed 'developments in the political situation and constitutional entitlements related to the election of the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the necessity of holding a session as soon as possible regarding this matter.'
