Al-Hakim congratulates the press family on its national holiday

Baghdad: The Head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar Al-Hakim, congratulated the press family on its national holiday. Al-Hakim said in a statement on the occasion: On the anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi national press, we congratulate the journalistic family on this fragrant occasion, and we hope that our media will take its regulated and committed national field, launching into the wide space created by democracy and freedom, and that it will be a free platform for the responsible word that respects the will of the Iraqi people, seriously expresses the ambitions of the people, translates their aspirations, spreads the achieved positives, and corrects and addresses the negatives through speeches based on credibility, and enhances unity and national spirit and takes into account the diversity of the Iraqi people, in addition to encouraging innovations and enhancing national cultural production, and that its work rises to the level of Iraq's civilized status, and its glorious history full of inte llectual, cultural, literary, political, social and sports achievements, and keeps pace with the developments taking place in the field of journalism and media.
