Jerusalem - Ma'an - A young man was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces on Sunday evening, after allegedly carrying out a stabbing attack at Damascus Gate in occupied Jerusalem, which resulted in the injury of an Israeli police officer, according to Israeli reports. According to Hebrew websites, the perpetrator of the operation is Zayed Abu Subaih (33 years old), a resident of the town of Arara in the Negev. "At approximately 19:45 this evening, a terrorist armed with a knife arrived at Damascus Gate in Jerusalem, attacked a Border Police officer from behind, and fled towards the Old City. The wounded fighter, along with other fighters, ran after him, shooting at him, neutralizing him and eliminating the danger he posed," the police said in a statement.
