Zain Jordan, under its "Zain Business" umbrella, on Sunday signed a cooperation agreement with the Department of Antiquities (DoA) to supply a central electronic monitoring room to the department to link archaeological sites electronically. According to a company statement, Zain Jordan will establish a central monitoring room and connect 45 archaeological sites countrywide to its multi-protocol network service and install over 400 surveillance cameras in Jordan's various tourist attractions. The company will provide technical support services by offering the latest technologies for a 5-year period to connect and improve the communication network, which would enhance the DoA's interaction with the archaeological sites' administrations.
