The Yemeni Olympic Committee (YOC) next Thursday will hold the fifth round of sportsmen subcommittee elections. YOC secretary-general, Mohamed al-Ahjori, on Sunday met with candidates for the subcommittee chairman and members, to discuss latest arrangement for the upcoming elections. Under international and local regulations governing the YOC, candidates should have participated in at least one of the latest three rounds of Olympic games, Sowfi told the candidates. The meeting set next Thursday for the subcommittee elections, that will take place in the Olympic center in Sana'a City. Source: Yemen News Agency
