BETHLEHEM: Israeli colonists today attacked a Palestinian family in the village of Kisan, east of Bethlehem. The head of the Kisan Village Council, Musa Abayat, said that a group of colonists from the illegal colony of Ma'ale Amos broke into a land owned by a local resident Ibrahim Sawarka in Kisan village, east of the city, and severely beat up and assaulted his wife, causing her bruises. Meanwhile, Abayat added that Sawarka's family members are still trapped in the house as they are not allowed to leave by occupation forces who prevented village's residents from approaching the house to provide assistance. Israeli colonists further smashed the windows of Sawarka's vehicle and punctured the tiers of his agricultural tractor. Abayat added that colonists also tore down several tents belonging to Sawarka's during the raid. Source: Palestine news and Information Agency – WAFA
