Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has said that more than 560,000 Palestinian children have been vaccinated in the first phase of the polio vaccination campaign in Gaza, despite the tragic reality of daily life in the Strip. He said that this campaign represents a great success amid the tragic reality of daily life in Gaza, stressing that they have witnessed what can be achieved by implementing the ceasefire in the areas where vaccination was carried out. Yesterday, the first phase of the polio vaccination campaign in Gaza ended.
