Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov announced that the losses of the Ukrainian forces during the current month of May amounted to more than 35 thousand soldiers, in addition to more than 2,700 vehicles. Belousov said in his speech during the meeting of defense ministers of the CSTO member states in the Kazakh city of Almata that Russian forces intercepted more than a thousand drones and more than 300 missiles of different types during the month of May. The Russian minister also announced control over 28 new towns during the month, adding that Russian forces forced Ukrainian forces to retreat between 8 and 9 kilometers in Kharkov Province.
