Baghdad, The Iraqi Red Crescent Society announced the launch of the largest food and medical aid convoy by land to the people of Gaza, in cooperation between the government communication team and the Iraqi Red Crescent Society, under the patronage of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani. The Iraqi Red Crescent Society said in a statement, "The first ground land convoy set off today for the people of Gaza, carrying more than 500 tons of food and medical supplies." It added, "These trucks will depart by land to the Trebil port and then to the port of Aqaba, and by ferry to the Egyptian port of Nuweiba and then to Rafah." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
