Former Lebanese Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss passed away today. Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati issued a statement mourning al-Hoss: "With great sadness and sorrow, I offer my condolences to the Lebanese people for the passing of PM Salim al-Hoss, who passed away at the most difficult and delicate stage in which Lebanon needs his conscience, his national and Arab sense, his wisdom, his sobriety, and his good management of public affairs."
