New York - Ma'an - The United Nations reported that the Israeli occupation authorities are still preventing the provision of fuel needed by humanitarian aid workers, which hinders the distribution of food supplies in the Gaza Strip. "Dozens were killed and wounded in the recent Israeli attacks on Gaza," UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said during a press conference on Tuesday. "One of the attacks occurred 100 metres from the centre where humanitarian aid operations are taking place in Deir al-Balah," Dujarric said. He stressed that despite this, humanitarian aid operations continue, adding that the attacks "make it more difficult for people who are already working under great pressure." He continued: "The Israeli authorities are still not allowing the provision of fuel needed for humanitarian relief workers, and therefore the distribution of food is being hampered."
