Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has once again criticized the shortage of weapons supplies from the West amid the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian war since February 2022, emphasizing his country's need for these weapons. Zelenskyy said that Kyiv's partners have certain weapons that Ukraine needs, adding that he doesn't understand why Ukraine was not getting those weapons. He expressed hope to obtain long-range German cruise missiles Taurus, emphasizing that without Western assistance, Ukraine would face defeat in the war. The Ukrainian President also called for the provision of more air defense systems and ammunition, noting that his country suffers from a shortage of artillery shells and requires frontline air defense systems and long-range weapons.
