Amman: Sunday's weather is expected to be typically summer-like in most regions, with hotter conditions in the desert, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department said in it's daily update. Some low-altitude clouds may appear in the northern and central parts of the country, while winds will be northwesterly moderate, occasionally intensifying. Monday's weather will remain largely unchanged, maintaining typical summer conditions in most areas and hot weather in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with low clouds in the north and central regions. Moderate northwesterly winds are forecast, potentially strengthening at times. Tuesday will see a slight uptick in mercury levels, but similar weather conditions will persist with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds. Towards Wednesday, a further rise in temperatures is predicted, bringing relatively hot weather in most regions while it will be hot in the desert, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Today's maximum and minimum temperatures in eastern Amman range between 22-32 degrees Celsius, in western Amman 20-30C, in the northern highlands 17-20C in the Sharah highlands 16-29C, and in the Gulf of Aqaba 26-42 degrees Celsius.
