Federal Police Command forces arrested two defendants in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of Terrorism in Baghdad and Kirkuk. The Command stated in a statement: A force from the 12th Brigade, 3rd Division of the Federal Police, supported by intelligence efforts, carried out a successful security operation that came in accordance with judicial arrest warrants and based on accurate intelligence information, during which they arrested a suspect wanted in accordance with the provisions of Article (4 of terrorism) in the village of ( Aisalana) in the Hawija district in Kirkuk, and a force from the 20th Brigade, 5th Division of the Federal Police, along with a detachment from the brigade's intelligence, arrested a suspect wanted in terrorism cases in (Al-Shaoura) area in Baghdad, and they were duly referred to the competent authorities to complete the investigative and legal procedures against them.
