The Director General of Traffic Police, Brigadier General Dr. Bakil Al-Barashi, directed the traffic branches in the Secretariat and governorates to prevent the deployment of traffic services, whether individuals or vehicles, in front of wedding halls, graduation parties, or any personal occasions. The Director General of Traffic explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the priorities of the traffic police's tasks lie in organizing traffic movement on public streets and intersections, enhancing the level of traffic safety on the roads, and participating in arranging and organizing public and official events and occasions to serve the community, not organizing special occasions. He stressed that the traffic police, in coordination with the relevant authorities, will take legal measures to arrest violators from the owners of halls and special occasions, stressing the need for everyone's cooperation to reduce traffic congestion resulting from random parking in front of halls on special occasions.
