Ramallah - Ma'an - The Supreme Judicial Council signed a memorandum of understanding with the Palestinian Land Authority. The signing ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Supreme Judicial Council on Sunday, with the participation of Counselor Muhammad Abdul Ghani Al-Awiwi, President of the Supreme Court, President of the Supreme Judicial Council, and Counselor Alaa Al-Tamimi, Head of the Palestinian Land Authority. The Supreme Judicial Council authorized Judge Raed Assaf, Supreme Court Judge, Head of the Technical Office of the Supreme Court, to sign the memorandum. The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation, coordination and partnership, unify all efforts in areas of joint work between the two parties, raise the quality and outputs of work in land registration departments in accordance with the law, combat forgery and preserve citizens' rights. During his speech at the signing ceremony, the President of the Supreme Judicial Council stressed that this agreement will contribute to developing work b etween the two parties in a way that serves the interests of citizens and facilitates legal procedures related to lands in Palestine. In turn, the Chairman of the Land Authority praised this cooperation, which is in line with the vision and mission of the Land Authority, which is to be the primary reference for everything related to the land sector in the State of Palestine.
