Kirkuk, The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan called for the necessity of maintaining the security and stability of Kirkuk and not to stir up tensions. Supervisor of the Kirkuk and Salah Al-Din organizations of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Asso Mamand, said that the issuance of the Republican Decree by the President of the Republic regarding Rebwar Taha, the governor of Kirkuk, is a positive step to serve the province. He expressed his hope that other legal procedures will be completed to form the local government of Kirkuk province, and said that we hope that the citizens of Kirkuk will not hold any celebrations or mass gatherings. He stressed the need to maintain the security and safety of citizens, hoping to consolidate the true partnership among all components and nationalities of the city in the new administration.
