Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani chaired today, Monday, the fourth meeting of the Board of Directors of the Iraq Development Fund, which discussed the school construction project (Aidouba). A statement by his media office stated that "the meeting witnessed a review of the projects that the fund intends to implement with the private sector, in addition to discussing the internal regulations of the fund and deliberating on granting investment projects in a number of sectors." It added that during the meeting, according to the statement, al-Sudani was briefed on the measures taken to qualify companies applying for school building projects, as well as discussing the final touches to launch the (Aidouba) project to build schools throughout Iraq, which aims to address the problem of overcrowding and double shifts in some schools, within the government's approach to improving the educational sector.
