Baghdad: The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received a phone call, today, Saturday, from Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha. A statement from his office said: 'Rashid and the King exchanged fraternal congratulations on the Happy Eid and wishes of well-being, progress and peace for the peoples of the two brotherly countries.' It added, "The importance of expanding the horizons of joint cooperation in various fields was also stressed during the call in order to develop bilateral relations between Iraq and Bahrain in a way that consolidates security and stability in the region and enhances the economic growth of its peoples."
