Baghdad, A US Department of Defense (Pentagon) official confirmed today, Tuesday, that 5 US troops and 2 US contractors were injured in the recent Ain al-Assad base attack in Iraq on Monday. A security source had announced earlier today that 5 US soldiers and foreign contractors were injured in the attack on Ain al-Assad base, west of Anbar. Source: National Iraqi News Agency
