The Mobile Amputee Support Unit (MASU) continued its operations in the Gaza Strip, fitting patients with prosthetic limbs as part of the "Restoring Hope" initiative under the supervision of the Royal Medical Services Directorate, in cooperation with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) and a number of local partners. The MASU has received many cases since its arrival on September 17, through two mobile clinics sent by the Jordan Armed Forces Arabic Army (JAF) to install prosthetic limbs by a specialized medical team from the National Centre for Amputation Rehabilitation, where 26 lower limbs and 7 upper limbs were installed. The families expressed their gratitude for Jordan's honorable positions and continuous efforts in providing medical and therapeutic services, which has a good impact on the hearts of the people in the Gaza Strip. Specialists working within the "Restoring Hope" initiative use modern technologies that enable amputees to walk the same day, and the initiative is expected to inc lude a large number of amputees in the Gaza Strip.
