Ramallah - Together - As part of its series of relief contributions directed to Gaza, the National Bank today signed a joint cooperation agreement with the Palestinian Alimony Fund to provide food parcels to families headed by women in the Gaza Strip. The agreement was signed by the Director of Public Relations at the National Bank, Reem Anani, and the Director General of the Palestinian Alimony Fund, A. Fatima Temporary, in the presence of a number of administrators from both parties, where the signing took place at the headquarters of the bank's general administration in the city of Ramallah. In her speech during the signing, Anani indicated that the National Bank is continuing its series of efforts to provide relief contributions in the Gaza Strip to mitigate the effects of the war on the humanitarian situation there, stressing that this year's social responsibility budget is directed to this purpose to contribute as much as possible to standing by our people in Gaza. A. expressed Temporary expressed it s gratitude for the efforts of the National Bank, stressing the important role of the banking sector in supporting the steadfastness and dignity of women's families in Gaza during these difficult circumstances. The interim also urged national and humanitarian solidarity to provide the necessary support and fulfill the national and humanitarian duty towards the Palestinian people. Noting the importance of directing all national institutions to work together to provide the necessary services in light of the current circumstances, the Fund has developed an emergency plan this year to provide support in cooperation with national partners, as the National Bank was at the forefront of these efforts. It is worth noting that the National Bank began at the beginning of this year to focus its efforts on providing relief support in all Palestinian areas that were affected by the war in particular and were affected by its economic repercussions in general, as the Bank provided thousands of hot breakfast meals in the mon th of Ramadan to displaced families, including Jabalia and Beit Lahia.
