The Minister of Health, Dr. Saleh Al-Hasnawi, discussed joint cooperation with the World Bank delegation in Iraq, in the presence of specialists in the Ministry. A statement from the Ministry of Health said that during the meeting, they discussed increasing cooperation between the two sides with regard to providing technical support to the Ministry in the field of primary health care services programs and health insurance, opening areas of training, developing scientific research, building capabilities, and developing workers in the field of cost accounting. The Minister pointed out the importance of continuing cooperation with the World Bank because it is a strong partner in this field, and the two parties agreed to continue coordination and cooperation according to specific timetables and goals agreed upon by the specialized technical teams of both parties.
