Tahreer district in Sana'a City on Wednesday commenced the second public festival to revive the Prophet Birthday, with support from Quran Charity. The 10-day festival is aimed to enhance affiliation and to show respect to Prophet Mohammed, as part of the Yemeni people's ceremonies on the Prophet Birthday. The festival includes cultural activities, plays, awareness flashes, chants and competitions followed by cash and in-kind rewards. Celebrating this great occasion is based on the awareness and Koranic culture of the Yemeni people and their deep relation to their Prophet, member of Ansarullah executive council said. To revive the Birthday anniversary means to learn the correct history of Prophet Mohammed, to fight wrong thoughts, and to boost faithful identity and Koranic culture, Dr. Ahmed al-Shami added.
