Najaf Governorate appreciated the efforts of representatives of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO Iraq) office for choosing the governorate to host the training course on "Indicators for measuring freedom of expression and the safety of journalists" with the participation of an elite group of journalists from various governorates and the Kurdistan Region, and in the presence of the Governor of Najaf, Youssef Kanawi, the head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate branch in Najaf, Ayad Al-Jubouri, and the Director of Media and Government Communications, "the official Spokesman for the governorate" Ahmed Muhammad Al-Fatlawi.
