The Head of the Azm Alliance discusses with the Australian Ambassador the political situation in Iraq and the region

Baghdad, The Head of the Azm Alliance, Muthanna Al-Samarrai, received in his office in Baghdad today, Tuesday Australian Ambassador to Iraq Glen Miles. A statement by the Al-Azm Alliance stated: 'The meeting witnessed a discussion of the current political situation in Iraq and the region, and ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.' Views were also exchanged on the importance of political stability in Iraq and the efforts made to enhance it by achieving political and social balance, and the necessity of moving forward with the process of electing the Speaker of the House of Representatives, with the aim of strengthening the oversight and legislative aspect, in compliance with the constitution, customs and political agreements.
