Najaf, The Governor of Najaf, Youssef Gannawi, received in the governorate building the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq, Muhammad Kazem Al Sadiq, and his accompanying delegation. Gannawi's media office said that they discussed economic cooperation files and million-man visits. During the meeting, Gannawi called on Iranian companies to hold commercial and industrial exhibitions for Iranian products in the holy city of Najaf to open industrial, economic and commercial horizons with reputable Iranian companies. In turn, Iranian Ambassador Al Sadiq affirmed that 'the relationship with Iraq is strong and we have common components and goals, and we are working with the local government to strengthen those relationships in various sectors.'
