The Kuwait Air Force announced Saturday the first batch of the Turkish-made TB2 combat drones', Bayraktar, pilots and technicians graduated during a ceremony held in Turkiye, in the presence of the military attaché. Some pilots, personnel and technicians in varied specialties have passed the four-month training course, as part of a training program set to prepare technical teams and pilots of the drones, Kuwait Ministry of Defense said in a statement. The Bayraktar was tested in Kuwait in 2019 when it flew a non-stop mission, reaching 27 hours and three minutes, in tough climate conditions. In June 2023, the Ministry signed a contract with Turkiye to get the Bayraktar TB2, with the aim of enhancing Kuwaiti army's combat potential. The drone has high technical capabilities in carrying out multitasks to support security and military operations. Source: Kuwait News Agency
