The European Union Ambassador Thomas Seiler confirmed that strengthening the country's capabilities and combating corruption are priorities of Al- Sudani's government and we are working to support it. Seiler said during the launch and publication of the first report of the trial follow-up program: Iraq is moving towards foreign investments not for the sake of money and gain, but for global integration in accordance with international standards. He stressed the European Union's readiness to fully cooperate with Iraq in all fields, especially in combating corruption. He stressed that "we support and are working to include new legislation related to legal laws, including the right to access information to the public, arbitration, and anti-corruption, calling on the House of Representatives to ratify the legislation requested by the government. He pointed out that the Integrity Commission is working well. He expressed his happiness in observing special trials in major corruption cases, calling for no mercy f or all corrupt people. He pointed out that the report confirms the existence of good cooperation between civil society, the government, the judiciary and the international community. He concluded that the speed of completing the anti-corruption investigation depends on the completion of the necessary legislation and the application of the necessary legal procedures.
