The Council of Ministers approved the Ministry of Oil's acquisition of lands on which the (Central Gas Processing Plant/CPF Gas Project) will be built, within the Halfaya field - in Basra, and the completion of the extension of the dry gas and liquefied gas (LPG) pipelines, according to the principle of voluntary compensation. The Council also approved the draft law to cancel the law ratifying the Economic Unity Agreement between Arab States No. (169) of 1963, and referred it to the House of Representatives, based on the provisions of the Constitution.
