Ramallah - Ma'an - The Commander of the Customs Police Service, Major General Iyad Barakat, and his accompanying delegation met today, Tuesday, with the Head of the Financial and Administrative Control Bureau, A. Amal Faraj in her office in Ramallah, to enhance ways of joint cooperation between the two parties. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance coordination to ensure the effectiveness of financial and administrative oversight, enhance transparency and credibility in government work, and the importance of developing training programs and improving oversight procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards to raise work efficiency and achieve the highest levels of integrity in government institutions. The two parties stressed that this meeting represents an important step towards strengthening joint oversight work and raising the level of institutional performance in a way that serves the interests of the nation and citizens. At the end of the meeting, Major General Barakat presented congratulations and congratulations to Mrs. Amal Farag for the high confidence placed in her by President Mahmoud Abbas, may God protect and preserve him, by appointing her as Head of the Financial and Administrative Control Bureau.
