TUBAS: A group of Israeli colonists launched an attack this morning on shepherds in the Juba area of the northern Jordan Valley region, located northeast of the occupied West Bank, assaulting a local resident and a foreign activist. Mutaz Bisharat, an official in charge of the Jordan Valley file in the Tubas Governorate, told WAFA that the colonists physically assaulted Ahmed Hussein Abu Mohsen, a local shepherd, and abducted him. Abu Mohsen was later found near the Mehola settlement with severe injuries. The same group of colonists also assaulted a foreign solidarity activist, who was present in the area at the time, Bisharat added. This incident is part of a broader pattern of daily harassment and attacks faced by residents in the northern Jordan Valley. Colonists frequently target locals and obstruct shepherds from accessing grazing lands. Source: Palestine news & Information Agency - WAFA
