Representative of the President of the Republic attends the funeral of the students who were run over and inspects the injured in Basra

Representative of the President of the Republic, Counselor Jamal Al-Muhammadawi, conveyed the condolences and sympathy of President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid and his sympathy to the families of the victim students who were run over in Basra Governorate. The Representative of the President of the Republic confirmed, during his attendance at the funeral council, that the President of the Republic's obligations in Baghdad prevented him from attending the funeral council in Basra, indicating that the President stressed the need to provide support and attention to the families afflicted by this painful accident, and to help them overcome the difficult circumstance. Al-Mohammadawi added that the President of the Republic followed the incident with interest immediately after it occurred. The President's representative also inspected the injured lying in Al-Sadr Teaching Hospital and Al-Mina'a Teaching Hospital, and conveyed to them the President's greetings and his wishes for a speedy recovery.
