Baghdad: Chief of Staff of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Abdulaziz Al-Muhammadawi, visited the Western Nineveh Operations Command and was received by its operations commander, Major General Ali Fadel Omran. A statement by the Popular Mobilization Commission said, "The visit aims to maintain joint coordination between the Popular Mobilization Forces and the security forces and to review the security conditions in Nineveh Governorate." The statement added, "This visit comes as part of the Chief of Staff's tour of Nineveh Governorate, where upon his arrival at the Nineveh Operations Command, he held an expanded security meeting in the presence of the Nineveh Operations Commander, Khudair Al-Matrohi, and a number of directors, directorates, and brigade commanders in the Commission."
