Tehran: We reject the accusations of supplying drones to Russia

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Nasser Kanaani, renewed his country’s rejection of the accusations of supplying drones to Russia.

Kanaani said in press statements: “Our relations go back to before the Ukrainian crisis, and linking it with Ukraine is false political accusations, indicating that Iran does not provide any weapons, equipment or drones to Russia.”

He added, “Ukraine or the European countries did not provide evidence or documents regarding their claims in this regard, and the Ukrainian side also did not provide documents during the meeting between the delegations of Iran and Ukraine, and we expressed our readiness to continue these consultations, but Ukraine did not welcome that,” stressing that the crisis must be resolved through different political means..

Kanaani indicated that “relationships with Russia are based on mutual interests and in accordance with international conventions, and our relations are not against any other party.”
