At least five people were killed by the landslides and sweeping floods that struck the city of Zamboanga, south of the Philippines. A spokesperson for the local disaster response agency said that four people died due to landslides, while another person died due to drowning. They added that the landslides and floods were caused by Friday night's heavy rains, which came to affect at least 4,000 families.
