The Supreme Committee for Elections and Referendum commemorated on Wednesday the birth anniversary of Fatima Al-Zahra, peace be upon her - International Muslim Women's Day with a rhetorical activity. At the event, the Chairman of the Supreme Elections Committee, Judge Muhammad Abdullah Al-Salmi, stressed the importance of celebrating this anniversary, especially among working women, so that the model of a righteous woman who loves her religion and society may be embodied through them. He pointed out the necessity of imitating Fatima Al-Zahra, peace be upon her, as a comprehensive life model for the Muslim woman whom God wanted her to be in this world, as a mother, sister, wife, educator, and teacher, and staying away from all the models below him that the enemies of God and the nation wanted. Judge Al-Salmi touched on the importance of the role of Muslim women during the current stage in reforming society, and their effective contribution to raising generations. Source: Yemen News Agency
